Huntsville Sparks was incorporated in 2005 under the direction of Coach Dale Palmer from Sparkman High School in Madison Alabama. Coach Dale's vision is to build an organization that could play competitive Fastpitch softball, not only at the state level but at the national level. He wanted to have girls in North Alabama show that they can compete on a National level with the some of the powerhouse teams from the West and Southwest. His vision is shared by many people in the North Alabama area by the response that he has seen from the girls and there parents.
